As for my final blog post, this is dedicated to you Sir.
Man, i would like to thank you for teaching me the essences of English.
Though it might be only a 3 month period that you taught DTM411, i have learned many.
Its not only English i have learned, but the everyday feelings that we go through everyday. I appreciate every story & tale you shared with us. Be it your personal life or how much sh*t you went through in Shatec. Still, i appreciate it because not many mentors in our school are willing to talk to us this openly, replacing lessons with movies as well as letting us off early. I hope that i can & i will do extremely well for your lesson this term and to make you proud of course. Thank you for your presence and i hope you will continue to stay in shatec & teaching others what you taught us. Its been an honor knowing you.

Way back into life. ★

Hello Mr Lee!
4th Blog post as requested.
Yesterday, as i was on my way home, i glanced upon the basketball court of my neighborhood.
Looking closely to the somewhat deserted court, i saw two of my neighbors playing amongst themselves. Without hesitation, I climbed over the gate & joined them for a game of basketball.
I have not been balling for quite some time, a year & 2 months to be specific. Playing with them, i gained my momentum & faint images of the past slowly flashed by. Images of me playing together with my classmates back in Secondary school & the bond we used to identify ourselves, i learned that its not the number of people you're having fun with, but the fun you would have.
Though it was just 3 of us playing basketball, the bond was so concentrated that we managed to be pals from basketball. We eventually exchanged numbers & we promised each other that no matter what time is it they are meeting for a game of basketball, that they'll always give me a call first to ask if i was interested to play with them.

Strangers ★

Have you ever felt alone? Have you thought to yourself, "is this all it is to life"?
Thinking whether life is worth the risk? Well I have. I've not been blessed with friends that are able to last and to stick by my side for long term. Perhaps its due to my habit of floating around finding even more friends to be with that i eventually desert my past friends, the friends that were truly there for me. When i was just chilling at home the other day, i realize that the moments that i've collected good memories was in my secondary school. Friends i made in my secondary school life were limited however, they were my true friends. Thinking back, i really hope we did cherish every moment of our time together. Sadly, i was too vain and went astray with bad company. If they are seeing this, I really hope we'd be a clique again.

Passion for music ★

Hey Mr Kelvin,
Its my third blog post now and i guess I'm starting with the topic of music.
Many people out there are now starting to forget whats real music. Many of them are stuck onto music that are too main stream and for some genre that aren't fit to be called music.
I'm no music enthusiast but when it comes to good music, I'm pretty sure i am possible to identify one.

The genres of music that i listen to is endless. Ranging from pop, rock, indie, hip-hop, R&B, alternative, blues & metal. Yes, i listen to metal and frankly speaking, the most favorite genre of music that i love to listen to will definitely have to be metal music. Many people think that its all about screaming into the mic with lots of phlegm without knowing the lyrics but they are so wrong.
Metal music depicts on how the singer is feeling and what his or her music means. And if you listen close enough, you are able to feel the emotions that the singer is trying to express out. I guess that's what music is about isn't it?

I hope that the current society will stick less to mainstream music and to pay attention to true music. They should not follow with the crowd but to follow their heart. Music defines the true self in you. Music is me.

Sick & Tired ★

Hey Mr Kevin,

Its my second blogpost now & what I want to talk about today will definitely be how I feel about our timetable schedule for this term.

As you can tell, our class, DTM411, has not been performing well in class lately. Specifically, our attendance & our behavior. I blame the timetable. Squeezing all the subjects into 5 days is not child's play. Many of us usually doze off by the second or third lesson of the day.
I mean come on, waking at 6 & starting school at 845? Whats worst is us ending at 6pm everyday!

With our school's location being in the west part of Singapore, there is already difficulty for the north & south side classmates living, to get to school early, What more the East Siders? Some have to wake like 530am just to reach school early & some of them just absent themselves knowing that they will be late.

This issue is causing a huge headache for us, but at the end of the day, we know that we must pull through. Another 2 terms left & we'll be done with school to continue with our internships. Im looking forward to it.
